Our History Empty Our History

Immortal Bloodlines: Prologue.

There was a time once, long ago where the worst that Humankind had to fear were the ill doings of their own people; a time where such creatures as Vampires, Werewolves and Demons were nought but stories fed to children around a campfire. Today, that fire has spread and engulfed all in a bloody feud between men and monster. Over the centuries these conflicts and rivalries have spanned, they have come to be known as the war against the Immortal Bloodlines. Many have forgotten where it all started and who cast the first stone…-But there are still some that remember the tales of violence and legends, passed down through generations and tell of a Covenant that rose into being, against the many hordes that sought to rival them, the few friends that had the courage to stand with them and the exposure of the Immortals to the Human world that sparked catastrophe for all.

Teenchat: A fight for Survival.

Over more than a decade ago, the Founders of the Death Covenant were little more than underdogs in a playground full of elitist roleplayers; they met over a site known as Teenchat.com and while struggling to establish a name for themselves amongst a group notoriously focused on live-chat competitive role-play, these few individuals found safety in numbers. These members went by the names of Chris ‘Crucifucked’ Black, Kenshu Black, Lita Black, Stevie and KnOT who would later take on the surname of Death and sit at the head of the Vampire Coven.

Within the restrictions of an open live chat system, every day brought a probability of confrontation and so too the likelihood of each character's demise. Here, Tech2 was introduced and utilized the simplistic rule: Post two lines, twenty words minimum with perfect punctuation or all is considered null and void. This style of combat along with follow up posts for fatal deliveries quickly took the site by storm and though not all were fond of combat, the Death Covenant managed to survive the years by the skin of their neck until moving independently to create the original Immortal Bloodlines forum.

Legacy of Ruin.

Stepping into the forum/website scene brought with it a lot of new concepts and features to enhance an already gifted setting that the Covenant members had created for themselves. Now without the company of those that sought to step the group of friends out of the role-playing scene, also allowed for the focus around prospective races and various other avenues of play.

As time moved on and the word spread around, the first site gained up to a rough estimate of eighty members. These members all took up their own pursuits and inevitably aided in the rise and general story surrounding the blood wars between the Lycanthrope and the Vampires - a story that has been utilized in many Vampire/Werewolf books and movies over the years.

War however, never changes.

The bloodshed, sweat and tears naturally caught the attention and more than often engulfed other races and players in the cross-fire. Packs of Wolves were formed and fell in droves. Humankind who had believed the world to be theirs soon realized they were slaves to stronger powers, most they didn’t understand and those they did, they were little more than a day’s meal; cattle, herded and abused.

The Rise of Ox-Corp.

The violent settings that the players and now their new member base had left behind them, soon followed and became half the fun. The excitement and opportunity that Roleplay had inspired, molded and grew over the years until finally in 2015, Cashan, the head admin of the site soon looked to the future of Immortal Bloodlines with aspirations larger than what had been accomplished before.

Seeking to raise the ante and challenge the Immortal players, the scene changed completely with the revelation that was the Oxen Movement. A Private Military corporation that came about in secret and with their technology, training and high financing, proved to be an effective and ruthless counter-weight to the oppression of the mortal races, humans and were-creatures alike. It was Ox-Corp that liberated the first Human City from the grasp of the Death Family and shocked not only the characters but so too the players in eventually managing to drive them out of the Capital completely. From their the neighboring districts and Cities fell, once more retaken by the human race while the Vampires were hunted with absolutely prejudice. In the onslaught, the Lycanthrope scattered and managed to avoid most of the chaos by reducing themselves to little more than an absent memory.

Those that had been graced with the world to begin with, once more had complete control; where the Immortals had ruled the night, now found that no matter the time of day, they were on the back foot and their numbers were quickly being culled.

Many would say that this is the fate that the Immortals had paved for themselves, abusing the privileges that came with secrecy and obscurity from mortal minds; others would praise the humans in that they no longer had to fear for their lives without someone able to fight for them.
