Halvar is a man of his time, born and raised in Denmark during the formative years of the Norse Vikings. Raised to be a warrior by his mother who had been a Shield-Maiden.
He lived and breathed for battle, strength was something to be admired.
Honor in the eyes of the God's was and still is of great importance, though unlike most who followed Odin, Halver followed Loki the trickster.
Returning to the human plain two years ago he struggles to understand the modern world and social changes. He can be literal and tends to speak his mind without much thought for how his words may be taken or understood.
He has a good heart despite his affiliation with Loki but he also has a thirst for the fight it is within his blood and he does not shy from it.
He finds joy in living off the earth and providing for himself yet as all Vikings he seeks greatness.
He dislikes cowardice and will not stand for it for any reason.
History.:
Born in 801AD during the rise of the Vikings, Halvar was birthed by a Shield-Maiden by the name of Arna Colby.
His father was unknown to him until the age of ten when he was revealed to Havlar. His father the God Loki.
Havlar was a strong warrior, large even at a young age, due to his size he was considered a warrior and was taken on raids by the time puberty had taken hold. The Gods were kind to him and he reaped rewards in battle becoming a formidable opponent spoken of through all of the Viking lands.
He had many wives and more children yet his heart always remained upon the fields, beating for the blow of his hammer or ax upon flesh and bone. No single woman ever held his heart though many tried.
His mother fell in battle by his twentieth birthday, an honorable death, and one he did not mourn but carry with him proudly.
His fall came during his Thirtyfith year. A winter battle during the snows fall, a wound to his side taken yet it had not claimed him. The wound had festered a fever of the blood claiming him in the days which had followed.
Loki met him there in death and in death Havlar remained until two years ago.
He learned of his powers, he could shapeshift, he had always known it yet never had used it to his advantage knowing they would claim him a monster. He could also control certain elements, flora and fauna. All skills were studied and perfected in Valhalla.
Loki was to use Havlar in the war against the other Gods yet for Havlar that war would never come.
Hela, Loki's daughter and Halvar's step sister's jealousy thwarted all plans. Hela casting Halvar back to the earth after a great battle.
Two years have now gone by and Havlar finds himself in a world he had little understanding nor care for. He moves as the wind blows awaiting the time of his calling once more.
