Criston- Unrelated though the closest thing to a father he and his siblings have had. (Assumed Dead)
Companions- The brothers each have hellhounds that were allocated to them at birth but did not turn up until they reached adulthood.
Romal has two, the oldest Ashall being his longest companion. The younger is known as Jeko. Romal does not know why Jeko came to him, typically Dimitru's only get one hound.
The hounds often appear in the shape of Dobermans to hide their true forms. (True forms pictured) but can take many forms.

Height- Six-foot one.
Build- Muscular bulky in build.
Eye coloration- Right eye light green. Left eye blue. Though they change when powers are in use.
Hair- Short style, brown with highlights.
Ears- Nine hoops. Five on the right, four on the left.
Skin- Deep runes are buried within the skin of his entire body, running like streams through his flesh. They're Usually purple but change. Romal is covered in various tattoos (See images provided)
Scars- Romal has various, the newest being from battles with his brother Vaughan. And wounds inflicted by ox Corp.

Demon form.
-Leathery black wings tear through the flesh of his back.
-Muscles bulge and seize beneath the skin giving it the image of constantly moving.
-The runes upon his skin become brighter, and shift in size, tearing through his skin.
-His hands curl, large claws taking the place of fingernails. The talons are deadly and strong enough to tear a man in half.
-His eyes turn black.
-Black veins become obvious beneath pale skin.
-His vampire-like teeth elongate.



Family History.
The Demon Nero wanted power, and when he learned of a Prophecy pertaining to his blood he took action.
The prophecy stated that Nero would gain unlimited power upon its completion.  The prophecy stated that the Demon would need to sire four sons and that those four sons would bring about the apocalypse.
Each son would be gifted with powerful elemental abilities, and their powers would complement each other. They would be driven to kill one another. Their battle would be so violent and powerful that the power created would be realm-destroying.

Nero scoured Romania to find powerful gypsy witches, using them to birth his children. Female children were killed. As were all of the witches once they had given birth. Nero did not want his sons to be raised by loving and protective mothers, he wanted them to know hardship and hatred.

Once other demons learned of Nero's plan a war council was convened. The sole purpose of the council was to put an end to the prophecy. They knew they could not simply kill each child, as Nero would make more. So they stole the boys from the demon and separated them, hiding them scattered throughout Romania with no knowledge of each other. They were shielded from their father. Each boy being raised differently.
The council wanted to keep the boys apart, hoping that they would never meet to complete their destiny.

But one man did not agree with them. His name was Criston, and for a time he'd worked with Nero. Criston held different beliefs. He believed that he could bring the boys together, and teach them. He wanted to guide the boys and make them stronger. He wanted to turn them against Nero, intending on using the boys to destroy Nero instead of the planet.

Criston looked for the boys for years. Eventually bringing them together. He mentored them, becoming like a father to the four. He made them fight their natures, and learn to control them so they could fight against their urges to complete the prophecy.
Vaughan was the oldest of the four and the strongest. He was able to kill Nero's earthly body with the help of Criston and banish him to a cage in hell.

What the boys didn't know was that a female baby existed that Nero wasn't aware of. They had a sister. Asha. She was living as part of a vampire coven called The Matashina coven.
The boys would find their sister. And the Dimitru family was born.

Romal's abilities.
Romal is a Higher Demon, and as such he has access to much greater power than lower demons. He is very strong and has a high resistance to the dark arts.
He has elemental abilities, these are his main powers. He has power over the earth and can manipulate the earth and metals as a result.
He can control, create and consume electricity.
He is linked to his family via their runes, and they can draw power from one another to become stronger.
Summoner, he can summon lower demons and HellHounds.
Accelerated healing.
Enhanced senses.

Romal's weaknesses.
Romal is intolerant to Angel's blood. Angel's blood can hurt Romal more than any substance in existence, and enough of it can kill him with ease.
Romal has limitations as all creatures do, he can be killed if his body sustains enough damage.
His abilities use energy.
He is vulnerable to attack when an angelic presence is nearby.

Personality
As a child and young Romal barely said a word. He was quiet and withdrawn. He'd never known a kind word or a soft hand. He was easy to intimidate and even easier to anger. He often got into fights and had poor control over negative emotions.

Things changed when he discovered his family and who he was. Romal's confidence grew and he became a different person. He understood now how powerful he was, and that he wasn't weak and helpless like he'd been told.
He came into himself. He loved to party and loved to have a good time.
He liked to take care of his looks. Often changing his hairstyles.
He enjoyed life. But that didn't last very long.

Things happened. And Romal died. The Romal that returned was very different. He had been infected by the will of Nero. Yet he fought it. The internal battle twisted Romal into a deformed and twisted person, his psyche damaged beyond any repair.
He now felt the constant urge to kill his brothers, and he fought this but didn't always succeed.
He became withdrawn and angry. Often suffering from bouts of confusion.
Nero never let go of Romal, and he was forced to constantly battle himself to keep his power in check. But Nero and Vaughan didn't raise a quitter, Romal never let Nero win.

The Romal now is very different. Life has been crueler to him than most, and it shows. Romal's physical scars are significant, but the mental ones far outweigh them.
He lives each day as they come, and if he can spend them in a drug-fueled haze he will.

He remains loyal to those he cares about. But not to himself. And as a result, he doesn't have many people left.

Romal's Personal History.
Romal was raised in a Boy's home for orphans called Sacred Souls. The nuns that ran the house were corrupt and knew that Romal was a demon. They punished him for it, often abusing him.
He was not allowed to show his body around the other boys, because of the runes marking his skin. He was forced to spend the majority of his time alone.
Romal grew up there. Unloved, unseen. Until his Brothers found him.

Romal was thrown into a world of demons and prophecy. He'd gone from having no one to being surrounded by a family he never knew he had. Vaughan, Nathaniel, and Caine. His brothers. And Criston their mentor.
Romal spent years learning from Criston.
Romal learned of his history and learned how to use his powers. Criston taught him how to control them, and fight back against the prophecy.
The brothers had a natural urge to kill one another, but Nero made a massive oversight, and it was an oversight that Criston did not make.
They were brothers, and as brothers, they could love one another is shown how. Criston nurtured that love, and the brothers became a unit that worked with each other, instead of against each other.

The brothers travelled, and during those travels, they met with another powerful family. The Death Family. The brothers stayed with them for some time, and Romal fell in love with one of the coven members. Her name was Lita. The two had a relationship that lasted centuries.  
They were like chalk and cheese and were volatile together. But Romal loved her fiercely. Their relationship was on and off, the two often spending time apart.

The brothers made a home base in Romania, but also one in Lacrimosa. Where they discovered they had a sister named Asha. They quickly bonded with their sister, and she became a member of the family.
As a result, they became affiliated with the Matashina coven.
Shortly after this, Criston went missing, and the brothers never saw him again. Having to assume that something had happened and he was dead

During this time Romal met Azrae. And they became best friends. They got up to all sorts together, and Romal eventually attracted the wrong attention. An angel.
That is when the Dimitru's discovered their vulnerability to Angel blood. The Angel nearly killed Romal, and Azrae managed to save him.

Life went on, and the brothers went through their ups and downs. They fought many battles. Nero often sending demons from the underworld after the siblings. But they always won. Until one day they lost.
Caine's love, the Matashina Coven's mistress would be Romal's undoing. She killed Romal by ripping his heart out.
She killed Romal. Sending his soul straight to hell and into his Father's clutches.

Romal was dead for a short while on Earth, but 700 years in Hell had gone by when Sauri resurrected him.
For centuries he had fought against Nero's compulsion. Nero built him up and destroyed him, over and over again, until he finally cracked. It took four hundred years for Nero's influence to take hold, but when it did Romal turned into a monster.

What she resurrected was not Romal. But Nero's pawn. Romal was lost to his desires and spent years trying to kill his brothers.
Eventually, he was subdued by them, Vaughan leading the campaign, They tortured him with Angel's blood. Bringing him close to death, until he broke.
Romal's bond with Nero was shaken, and once he healed he was able to fight against it, and be around his brothers again. Gradually reconstructing the mental barriers he had spent a lifetime building.
Romal was never the same, he and Lita were fighting and during one alcohol-fueled night, Romal slept with Kenshu, Vaughan's spouse. And all hell broke loose.


The years that followed were a struggle. A demon named Plague grew in power. Eventually creating a new hell realm with another demon called Xaphan. These demons persecuted many of Romal's friends and his family.
Vaughan fell foul of Plague. Plague offered to free Vaughan's spouse of suffering if Vaughan would do his bidding. Vaughan agreed and became a monster, even worse than the one Romal had been.
The brothers were pitted against each other once again. Vaughan and Romal destroyed cities in their battles.

All the while a new Human threat was looming. They were called OX Corp. And they were going to change everything.

Eventually, Plague was beaten. But Vaughan remained a monster. The brother's worked together to stop Vaughan but was unable to. During one attack he nearly killed Romal and left his brother for dead. The Human army took Romal and held him in their cells, experimenting on him for years before Romal eventually gained enough strength to free himself.

He was found by Hope Death-Reign-Matashina. His friend. And she with her coven saved him. Returning him to his family.
Romal's hatred for the humans grew. And when he got a chance he took his frustrations out on the leader of Ox Corp. Bade Price.
Romal tortured him, doing unspeakable things to the man. But Bade was discovered and rescued by his men.

During this time his brothers and sister were working on a way to free Vaughan from his plight. Romal helped with this. And together they broke Vaughan free, using similar methods to the ones used to free Romal from Nero.

His relationship with his family never truly recovered. And Romal often found himself at Death Manor, spending more time with that coven than his own.

Lita found Romal there. And with her was a young vampire. She explained that this vampire was in fact his daughter. Lita had hidden the child from Romal out of spite because of his night with her twin Kenshu. And he had missed her entire childhood.
Romal was angry, but he put that anger aside, wanting to form a bond with his daughter.

Months later Lita and Pippa went missing. Bade had discovered them. And Ox Corp decided to use them to kick start an eradication.
He televised their executions. Romal watched his wife and child killed on live TV, and he never recovered from it.

Romal's life imploded, and he fell apart. He was drowned with grief.
His siblings left the continent, fleeing from Ox Corp. Romal was abandoned, and alone.
From then on He walked a dark path, teetering between life and death, as he searched for anything that could numb his pain.
