Kenshu Death -Redone-

Name- Kenshu Victoria Death.

Age- Faded from memory. Appears mid twenties.

Race- Ancient Vampire, Seer.

Abilities.
Vampire Ability:
Kenshu had the abilities of any vampire of ancient blood. She has inhuman strength and speed.
Her senses are keener then any humans.
She has hardened skin and ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
Also accelerated healing and regeneration.

Seer ability:
Kenshu has the gift of premonition though this gift is uncontrolled. She can not have a premonition by choice. They often come at unexpected times or when she is in a sleep state.  

She is connected to the spirit world, the spirits can move through her and she can summon and control them to an extent.
She can communicate with the spirits and can travel to and from any of the spirit realms. (She does not like to visit them)
This power has proven a weakness throughout her life. For hundreds of years the spirit world used her mind as a gateway into the realm of the living. It drove Kenshu insane with the constant screams and assaults from unbound spirits. This has since been rectified by Vaughan and she now has a much better control of the ability.

With her seer ability she can also control her own spirit energy. She can send it into others to take away pains or confusion within. This however takes it upon herself. She very rarely uses this ability because when she does apart of her spirit energy moulds to the one she is helping and they are forver bonded.

Reaper ability:
Kenshu is able to reap a spirit from a fallen body, she can guide it to it's intended place or she can challenge it's destination which leads to battle with what ever force tries to claim them.  She had been known to fight with other reapers to protect a spirit in its passing.
*Weakness of this is that other Reapers can cause her great harm.

Elemental Ability:
Kenshu can control the elements. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water and Electricity. She has a certain control over weather systems but that power is short lives as it takes a lot of energy.
She has the ability to birth life and also to destroy it.
*this ability often has grave consequences especially when Kenshu is in distress.

Build: Slight and fragile in looks.
Skin tone: Pale
Skin type: Hardened, stone like appearance.
Skin when using abilities: Black spider like veins will rise under the skin.
Hair length: To the middle of her back.
Hair Colour: Auburn.
Hair Style: Loose often unkempt, sometimes adorning wild flowers.
Eye colour: Bright blue, Blackening towards the edges.
Eye colour when using powers: Entire eye blackens.
Tattoo: The words. Bound by Death is upon the back of her neck.
Notable markings: Faded scars around the eyes and ears, from her own nails clawing.

Personality:
Personality wise Kenshu is pretty complex, she suffered from many years of crippling insanity. She now has a good grip on reality but having been insane for such a long time she still struggles with many aspects of her daily life.
She can seem very introverted and quiet most of the time. She keeps herself to herself where ever she can, unless she is around trusted souls and family.
She adores being around nature, She likes to spend her time alone in the gardens and streams of Death manor and The Black Woods.
Preferring connections and communications with wayward spirits she is often silent around actual physical company.
In contrast to her introverted nature she can be a very commanding force when time calls for such. She knows her own power and understands that it had to be wielded in times of need. At times she has been known to have a rather explosive temper. Though these days it takes a lot to have her reach her limits.
She can be sensitive and easily hurt when it comes to comments on her nature or her family, she is fearsomely protective and possessive over her family.
She has great pride in the Death family achievements and their failures, equally.

In recent years her sanity had been restored and she comes across as more peaceful, she is able to communicate verbally without confusing her words, or speaking for the many. Yet she is also deeply sad, Vaughan has become lost to her in his demonic state and the guilt of that is a heavy burden upon her.

Kenshu has loved and lost many, being so immensely loyal every loss has hurt her but the one that hurt the most festers in a deep wound. KnOT, She doted upon her monster of a brother. His passing had been painful enough, then his soul too was destroyed. He is no longer in her reach and she mourns him, endlessly.
(She is yet to know her twin is dead, story plot for that to come)


History:

(This history will document Kenshu Death's personal history within the Death Family Covenant. It is not the Death Family's History, This is a brief history as there is so very much that has happened)

As a human child Kenshu lived the life of a farmers daughter. She was one of three blood born sisters. Victoria was the eldest child, Lita and Kenshu were twins. They all had elemental powers and to some extent all of them had Seer powers. It effected each differently and their parents were forced to shield them upon the farmlands so they were never discovered to be 'Witches' back then they would have been killed for such a thing. Their father was a cruel man, especially to Kenshu who was considered the weaker sister. The spirits tortured her and her sanity was often in question. Her father thought her weak and ill and often took his frustrations out upon her.
A vampire passed their lands one evening and took all three farmers daughters, turning them into vampire blood.
Their seer and elemental abilities flourished with their new vampire strength and soon the sire (Who Kenshu no longer remembers) could not contain them, he turned his back on them and cast them out to the worlds.

It was then that Victoria found KnOT death and within the next few years they all became family. KnOT taking them into their bloodline so they became his sisters.
In the centuries that followed the Death name became one very well known to Immortals. The family grew in size and power. KnOT was a ferocious leader and the family rode waves of blood through the many years that followed.

Kenshu was one on the forefront of the war between Lycan and Vampires. It seemed an endless war and she had no personal hatred for them but she fought for her kind as did many others. Eventually that war ended and the family settled down, finding land to claim their own. Death Manor was constructed.

For many years Kenshu came and went from the family home, she mothered a child, Lorcan. He was lost to her and returned many years later frozen in time. Still a child. He became lost to her again and remains so.
Just over a century ago , Kenshu met the one and only love of her lifetime. Vaughan Dimitru. They formed a bond that would last the ages.

In the years since, Kenshu was tormented, her supposed gift for premonition torturing her with vague images, each one showing her downfall and the downfall of those she loved. Her torment made her weak and in her weakness the link to the spirit world was strengthened. Kenshu's mind was unable to hold the barriers to the spirit realm and they began to use her as a door. Thousands of spirits flooding her mind, using her to gain entry to the human plain. The constant cries and fights for control drove her insane. She was no longer able to communicate properly, or concentrate. She became dangerous and volatile.
With Vaughan she fled the family lands, afraid that she would hurt her family. They went to the land of Lacrimosa and joined affiliation with the Matashina Clan.

Over the next few years Vaughan looked after her the best he could but it became to much for them both. Though they both loved each other they could not remain together.

During this separation, Romal came to her, he was drunk and in pain and the results of that pain had them lay together.
Vaughan was insensed by this. And it led them all down a terrible path.

Kenshu vanished from all contact for a year, she was carrying Romal's child. She told no one. She wanted no one to know, she had great fear that Romal and Vaughan would kill each other and for the child. She feared Vaughan may kill it. Her life was no life for a child. She birthed a son (Odol) in private, left him with people who would care for him and a spirit guide (Her nephew Akira) she left and never spoke of her son again.


Eventually they returned to the Death Family home, which had now moved into Otara Mortus.  KnOT had led the family through more turf wars in the time that had passed and had taken down some leaders of  other cities. He had killed Kenshu's brother inlaws sons and all out war had taken place between the clans.
This was the start of her brothers downfall and eventually Karne Death-Reign, Kenshu's Nephew had taken over the family.
Within years of Karne's rain, KnOT's life was taken. Another blow for the family, one which hurt Kenshu deeply yet she still knew how to find his soul.

In recent years, Vaughan made a pact with a powerful Demon by the name of Plague, the pact was to give Kenshu control over her powers again. It worked but in it's success Vaughan was forced to work for Plague and lost all humanity within him. He was lost to a pure demonic state.
Plague was over thrown and destroyed, with that Kenshu had lost hope of ever getting Vaughan back.

Kenshu was to find out that before Plague was destroyed he had destroyed KnOT and Kenshu's link to him was gone. The double loss of her brother and of her lover, forever changed Kenshu. She has since travelled fleetingly but always returns to the Death Coven.

Hope Death-Reign now runs the coven and has merged it with the Matashina family of Lacrimosa. Karne is to the wind and no where to be found and the family face their biggest ever threat. The humans known as Ox Corp.
They are hunted relentlessly and on very recent history they have battled with them, joining with Lycans who they have now affiliated with they took on the Humans.
Kenshu lost her dear friend Erebus in the battle and the wolves lost one of there own.
Kenshu was aided by the wolves and in turn aided them. Helping the one who had protected her on the battlefield. His name Blaze. She merged her energy to his to take his pain and in doing so the pair are now bonded spirits.
