Personality:
Cool and Collected, Emmery plays the bad boy. His nonchalance can make him seem like an arrogant prick. However, in the span of his long life, he's come to learn the valuable lesson that nothing lasts forever, which means that it's not as big a deal as everyone thinks it is. He gave up caring about the unimportant things a long time ago.
Now, he looks for ways to keep life interesting, which often makes him seem like he is looking for trouble.

But do not take his indifference in the smaller things for ignorance. People often mislabel Emmery because they never get close enough to discover who he really is. He is a guarded individual with a fortress and strong as his own skin, and while he may seem simple on the outside, inside, he is a calculated and intelligent man who gets shit done.

Scent: Old Spice Cologne and Motor Oil.
Body Type: Untouched by time, Emmery could be in his early to mid-thirties. Olive skin, covered in various tattoos, pulled taut over ropes of muscle, creates the picture of a man in his prime.
Hair color:His facial hair and hairstyle change a lot; however, he has a neatly trimmed beard and medium length mousy brown hair.
Clothes: Emmery takes obvious care in his appearance, usually dressed in smart casual attire that consists of blacks and whites. He owns a vast amount of numerous jackets and boots.
Tattoos: His body is covered in tattoo's. None of which particular mean anything and all were done by his closest confidant, Temperance in her recent journey to becoming a tattoo artist. However, if one is lucky enough to see his nakedness, they might find two suspicious tattoos that are hidden from the eye and which would leave many questions left standing as to how exactly they got to these two places. But one would have to find them first.

Blood Empowerment


The power to gain strength when Emmery comes into contact with blood, possibly unlocking powers related to the affinity and enhancing their existing abilities.

Strengths:

  • Emmery becomes more robust, faster, more durable, etc.

Blood Transcendency


Emmery gains Transcendence by using blood as a medium, usually by drinking, smearing it on themselves, injecting, or even bathing in it.

Strengths:

  • Emmery gains the powers of the being the blood belongs to.
  • Possible Transcend Physiology. (See below)

Weakness':

  • Power is responsive only to the amount of blood ingested.
  • Effects are temporary and force the user to use more blood to keep this ability.
  • May infuse the user with literal blood-lust and drive them to blood madness.

Transcend Physiology:


When using the power of Blood Trasncedency and ingesting enough blood, Emmery can leave the physical plane of existence and become an incorporeal being, existing in a state of being free from the constraints of the material world and physical presence.

Strengths:

  • Emmery can travel undetected in the celestial realm.
  • Possession (See below)

Weakness':

  • The body will remain in the Existential realm, unpiloted and vulnerable.
  • When the user returns to their body, exhaustion will be inevitable, and they will need proficient rest presently.



Possession


The power to inhabit the body of a living being. Emmery can possess or take over the body of any living being, whether sentient or not, by stealing their motor functions and senses.

Strengths:

  • May be able to take complete control of a target's body, even using it as their own.
  • Does not have to be the being he fed upon.
  • Control a person's actions.
  • When the user possesses a body, they gain the skills and powers of the body.
  • Utilize as a last resort to escape a dying body and to achieve immortality.
  • User can possess a body, which can be useful for espionage and can lie dormant inside the person's mind and body.

Weakness':

  • Can only be done in Transcend Physiology.
  • Can only possess one body at a time.
  • Must leave the user's body, rendering it unpiloted and vulnerable.
  • The overtaken host may be able to fight back for their body.
  • May die if the host is killed.
  • The user may die or become trapped in the host if the possessor's body is damaged/destroyed beyond repair.
  • Users of Telepathy may be resistant or immune.



Blood Transfusion:

Emmery can infuse objects or beings with blood, and vise versa. Depending on the method, the results are varying.

Strengths:

  • Those who ingest Emmery's blood may temporarily gain Blood Trasendence and Enhanced Physiology.
  • When consuming from others, Emmery can control others' motor functions against their will as if they were a marionette.

Weakness':

  • Those who ingest Emmery's blood may temporarily gain Blood Trasendence and Enhanced Physiology.
  • The time limitations and strengths depend solely on the amount ingested.
  • During Blood Marionette: To control their movements, he must mirror them.
  • During Blood Marionette: Users of Telepathy may be resistant or immune.



Symbiotic Connection:


By removing a piece of himself and interchanging it with another being's, e.g., removing a part of his liver and interchanging it with another beings same organ, Emmery creates a super-enhanced supernatural connection with another being, allowing him to actively search through their mind, sense emotional turmoil or danger, and above all, become an extension of its life-force. Emmery and the recipient are organically connected by every definition.

Strengths:

  • Using this technique forms a stronger bond with the other being; their power over each other will enhance exponentially.
  • The other being will be able to use all of his abilities and powers. However, they will not be as potent.
  • Using this technique can save the other being from the brink of death.

Weakness':

  • If another being of this power forms a bond with the same bonded being, it will start a mind battle between the Emmery and the new user. To which the loser may perish.
  • The other being will be able to use all of his abilities and powers. However, they will not be as potent.
  • The only way to break the bond is by removing the part of himself from them, or vice versa.
  • If one dies/is destroyed, then the other dies.

Emmery possesses a link to others through their blood. Usually, through blood sharing and family connection.

Strengths:

  • Blood-letting or extensive anemia could undo the link.

Emmery can sense and locate people who share his bloodline, whether naturally or artificially. Alternatively, he can feed on the blood of another and track someone in their bloodline.

Limitations:

  • It may take time to locate the targets.
  • May not be able to pinpoint the exact location, only a general area.



Daytime Walking:

Because Emmery is both born of natural means, he is able to withstand exposure to direct sunlight and be active during the day without any effects. He can even get a tan.

Emmery possesses' the enhanced physicalities of his lineage, as do all the Death family members.

  • Although he is unresponsive to sunlight, he is not immune to the ultraviolet hollow point bullets.
